Stripe Connect

Accept payments from customers through Stripe's secure checkout. Also used for consultant payouts.

Stripe Connect in Harvenci

Stripe Connect is used for two purposes in Harvenci:

Store Payments

Accept customer payments when they checkout through WhatsApp. Funds go to your connected Stripe account.

Consultant Payouts

Receive commission payouts as a consultant. Funds are transferred from Harvenci to your Stripe account.

Accepting Store Payments

Connect your Stripe account to accept payments from customers placing orders through WhatsApp.

Go to Settings

Navigate to Settings in your dashboard (organization-level, not store-level).

Connect Stripe

Click "Connect Stripe Account" in the Payments section.

Complete Stripe Onboarding

You'll be redirected to Stripe to complete their onboarding process.

Stripe Requires:

  • • Business information
  • • Bank account for deposits
  • • Identity verification (for some regions)

Start Accepting Payments

Once connected and verified, your stores can accept payments. Customers see a secure Stripe checkout when they complete orders.

How Checkout Works

Customer Payment Flow

  1. 1. Customer builds cart through WhatsApp conversation
  2. 2. AI agent sends checkout link or initiates WhatsApp Flow
  3. 3. Customer enters payment details in secure Stripe form
  4. 4. Payment is processed
  5. 5. Order is confirmed in Harvenci
  6. 6. Customer receives confirmation message

Secure Payments

Payment details never touch Harvenci servers. All card data is processed directly by Stripe.

Charges Enabled

Your Stripe account must have "charges enabled" to accept payments. This happens after Stripe verifies your business information.

Alternative: Cash on Delivery

If you don't want to use Stripe, you can enable Cash on Delivery (COD) for your stores.

With COD:

  • Customers pay when they pick up or receive their order
  • You manually mark orders as paid
  • No Stripe fees on COD orders

Fees

Two fees apply to each online transaction:

Harvenci Platform Commission

Deducted automatically from each sale (Starter/Growth tier; see Pricing for all tiers)

3.25%

Stripe Processing Fee

Stripe's standard card processing fee

Example: On a €100.00 sale at the 3.25% Starter commission, the Harvenci platform collects €3.25, you receive the remainder after Stripe's processing fee (which varies by region and card type).

Check Stripe's pricing page for your region. Cash on Delivery orders have no fees.

Disconnecting Stripe

To Disconnect

  1. 1. Go to Settings → Payments
  2. 2. Click "Disconnect Stripe"
  3. 3. Confirm disconnection

Warning: Disconnecting Stripe will disable online payments for all your stores. Orders will need to use Cash on Delivery or another method.
