Roles & Permissions

Control what team members can access and do with role-based permissions.

Role Descriptions

Owner

The owner has complete control over the organization. This is the person who created the organization or had ownership transferred to them.

  • • Full access to all features
  • • Manage billing and payment methods
  • • Delete the organization
  • • Transfer ownership (coming soon)

*Each organization has exactly one owner

Admin

Admins can manage most aspects of the organization except billing and ownership.

  • • Full access to stores, agents, products, orders
  • • Invite and remove team members
  • • Change member roles (except owner)
  • • View billing (no editing)
Consultant

External partners who help manage your stores. Full operational access without administrative powers.

  • • Full access to stores, agents, products, orders
  • • Can invite other consultants
  • • View billing information
  • • No team management (except consultant invites)
Member

Team members who create and manage day-to-day operations.

  • • Create and edit stores, agents, products
  • • Manage orders
  • • Cannot delete stores or agents
  • • No billing or team access
View Only

Read-only access for stakeholders who need visibility but shouldn't make changes.

  • • View all stores, agents, products, orders
  • • View analytics and reports
  • • Cannot create, edit, or delete anything
  • • No billing or team access

Changing a Member's Role

Owners and Admins can change roles for other team members.

How to Change a Role

  1. 1. Go to Teams in the dashboard
  2. 2. Find the team member
  3. 3. Click the menu icon (⋮) next to their name
  4. 4. Select "Change Role"
  5. 5. Choose the new role and confirm

Note: The Owner role cannot be changed through this interface. Only the current owner can transfer ownership.
